SAGA started in 2019, as a college club for the campus’ LGBT members to have a place to meet and discuss important topics of discrimination and equality.

Two of the leaders of the group went on to establish their version of SAGA as an inclusive non-profit with a focus on giving a voice to the voiceless and supporting those who need help

SAGA now strives to become a resource for the wider community

By working with other non-profits, SAGA has begun work to expand and develop resources, such as our housing initiative and information packets, for helping members of the LGBT community across the country.
